    Hi everyone!

I hope there are students here who study biophysics or biochemics like I do because I need your help with something. It's about a project I am working on... So I'm trying to analyse the resulting gases of decaying foliage in regards of thermophysics but I am wondering if you can separate these gases from the "normal air"? I want my results to be as accurate as possible. At the same time I realize that you need air for the foliage to decay. I have been trying to find out more about dielectric analysis here but to no avail.

Is it possible to conduct a full dielectric analysis in vacuo?
